I recently got a new monitor, so I reconfigured my settings using nvidia-settings. I found that the bar was messed up. This is what it looks like. The width of the bar should be barely bigger that the font itself. This only happens when I rotate my second monitor in xorg.conf. It also seems to only happen when using the font I've always used, called Gohufont, which is a bitmap font. I've tried a plain dwm install... Source: almost 3 years ago

Mononoki is my recent favorite (unmentioned yet, but surely popular). https://madmalik.github.io/mononoki/ Monofur is a wild font I'm mildly surprised was omitted.
