I'm having the same shit from my GP surgery. I'm actually getting medication through gogodoc.com It's £35 for the GP consultation, £10 for a prescription and then the cost of the medication which is typically less than an NHS prescription charge. I use Hive hive.com , which is also a project management tool. I sync it with my google calendar for work-related things and with my calendar app on iPhone for home/family-related things. Guess I could use just one calendar and use tags, but this system works best for me.
