As a rule of thumb, the more managed the marketplace, the higher the fees charged. There's a growing number of marketplaces that focus on matching supply and demand instead of allowing the user to browse all supplies. Can research companies on sites like Crowdonomics (my site), KingsCrowd (competitor), and others. Having made investments through WeFunder, I can say their tracking of companies and the updates I've gotten are very poor. Republic and StartEngine seem to have more engaged companies when it comes to providing updates and transparency (and general platform usability too). DM me if you want to talk further about...
