OP, I read in another comment that you intend on using this for emulation. Let me be the one to tell you that Mac is somehow exclusively blessed with the best emulator by far, OpenEmu. It’s open-source and it has damn near every system you could want. It supports more in the experimental version too. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
Back when I owned a Mac, I found http://openemu.org/ to be quite nice. I am not sure if it can be entirely gamepad driven, but overall it's a really nice. I believe it is based off the libretro/retroarch cores but with a very slick UI. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
OpenEmu FOR MAC USERS THAT WILL NOT USE RETRO ARCH BECAUSE IT'S NOT ENOUGH LOOKING LIKE MAC UI OR THEY HAVE AN OCD OR something like that it's good anyways ( I didn't use it bc I'm not a mac user ). - Source: Reddit / 29 days ago
You can play MGS1 right now on your iMac with OpenEmu, not to mention other retro games (PS1, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, etc.). I'm not 100% certain but I'm pretty sure your PS5 controller will work via Bluetooth. Here are a few links to get you started:. - Source: Reddit / 26 days ago
Download OpenEmu (https://openemu.org) and do a search for the Sega Genesis ROM. I think that’s one of the best versions of the original release. - Source: Reddit / 20 days ago
