Rather soon, I'm going to be moving in with my s/o, and when that happens, I'd like to set up my existing desktop in the living room as a gaming machine. Since it's for going to be mainly for games, I want there to be as little need for mouse/keyboard, or any sort of desktop interaction, which is something that seems like linux could be great for (reading the pinned for this sub, GamerOS seems like it could be nice).
