  • 3 finger touchpad gesture to switch between groups
I don't think there are native gestures in qtile. I use fusuma, since it works better for me on X11 and wayland, but I've also used libinput-gestures in the past when on X11, and that works too. Source: 7 months ago
  • I got an error while trying to use fusuma
I'm new to linux, running last version of ubuntu MATE. Tried to get fusuma to have a better experience with my touchpad (I'm using hp notebook). I followed the whole guide for ubuntu on the Github page, created the config.yml using these two commands:. Source: 8 months ago
  • I've had enough of the fact that there isn't a way to change the 4-finger swipe down touchpad gesture to trigger the overview instead of the present windows effect...
For info, I've been using Fusuma to configure my touchpad gestures and it is awesome! Source: 12 months ago
  • Asahi Linux To Users: Please Stop Using X.Org
Https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma this might do the job? I have been using it on Hyprland and, despite the downside of being in Ruby, it works really well and seems stable. Source: about 1 year ago
  • 3 Finger Workspace instead of 4.
I use Fusuma to manage gestures and have deactivated the COSMIC gestures extension. Source: about 1 year ago

  • hello! i'm using windows bootcamped and i'm wondering how i can get the trackpad to behave like Mac?
You can try https://magicutilities.net/ but I've never used it myself before. Also not sure if it only works for the external peripherals. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Need held redefining keyboard shortcuts
I use a Mac keyboard and trackpad with my windows laptop for this, along with Magic Utilities. No affiliation, just a user. https://magicutilities.net. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Unable to see battery level on Windows (Magic Keyboard)
I found out two software programs that make the battery level visible, Magic Utilities and Bluetooth Battery Monitor, but they're both paid…. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What mouse/trackball do you with your split mkb?
I use an Apple Magic Trackpad (mac at work, with https://magicutilities.net/ on Windows at home) for general use, and a Logitech G Pro X Superlight occasionally. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Touchpad, trackball or mouse with trackball for wrist pain
The big negative is that there is not a ton of native functionality for these things on Windows. I use a paid driver https://magicutilities.net/, which sadly costs around $14/yr. I have not found a free alternative that offers the full range of features so I just bite the bullet and pay for this. I'd imagine there are utilities for these on Linux, you'll have to dig around for that yourself though. Source: almost 2 years ago
