Not in my experience. It beats carrentals.com nine out of 10 times, but costco is often competitive with autoslash, and for some reason I feel like it's more reliable. (I've used all three over the years.). Source: about 1 year ago

Costco doesn't have any availability for some reason. I checked carrentals.com like the above person showed and it did have availbability with hertz, which I'm not sure why didn't show up in costco travel. Source: almost 2 years ago

So my wife & I are going to CR from Nov 17 to 22nd and plan to rent a car. I generally use carrentals.com for booking my cars and never really had problem. But this is what I found. I generally follow the principle of "if it's too good to be true....".
