EpicVin Reviews

  1. Good for bidding on auctions

I started buying their reports like a year ago, usually go for packages since it's cheaper per report. Most of the time I was completely satisfied with the scope of information, and if there is lack of info they give you a free report. Now I switched to their Unlimited Auction Package (something like that). It works fine with Copart auction, and a pretty good deal. Overall I would recommend EpicVIN if you need good value reports for a moderate price.

    🏁 Competitors: Carfax, AutoCheck
  2. EpicVIN super service

My opinion is 5 star, I wish I could give 10 stars to this guys. Super cool website , easy navigation I wanted to buy a honda for my son and decided to check it to not to buy a pig in a poke. You even can't imagine how much usefull was this purchase for me. If you are thinking buy the vehicle hisstory report or no - I will definitely recommend you to buy it!

  3. User friendly

Great service available 24/7. Had to check vin# in the middle of the night. Reports are detailed and contain photos

    👍 Pros:    Easy user interface

  • Can I improve further?
I'd also recommend experimentation with new methods per each tank of gas and use fuelly.com to track and add notes to see which methods work the best for your specific Prius and use case over time. Source: 12 months ago
  • Owners: What efficiency are you seeing with your regular driving?
Sure there is. Go check out fuelly.com and tell me that you wouldn't be able to estimate pretty closely the mpg of any car you own based on that data and considering your own driving style. Source: 12 months ago
  • Sanity check: How and when do PHEVs make sense?
As to the data the article is using... It mentioned fuelly.com as a source. Just clicking on a few PHEVs from that website, it's abundantly clear how tiny the data set is. Nor does it seem to do much in the way of data verification. I just pulled up the listing for the Chevy Volt. Somehow I doubt there are dozens of people between 200 mpge and 500 mpge (200 mpge = 6 mi/kWh), and even 2 cars are listed at 1 mpge! Source: about 1 year ago

  • Amazing MPG on 2023 Corolla LE
Nice! I have a 2015 corolla LE and my best tank was 50.8 MPG on 412 miles. It was a trip from KY to OH cruising around 65 mph mostly. I average 42.8 MPG across 140,264 miles tracked via fuelly.com. If I didnt live in cold Michigan winters it would be higher. Very fuel-efficent gas-only car, definitely capable of 50+ MPG with the right conditions and certain manner of driving. Source: about 1 year ago

  • Is there a way I can verify I'm not buying a motorcycle that's still considered stolen? What other precautions should I take?
You can check several sites, but the best thing to do is check the VIN with your local PD. Https://epicvin.com/ Https://www.motorcycle.vin/vin-decoder Https://www.nicb.org/vincheck. Source: 10 months ago
  • Hi everyone. I’ll keep it quick. I found the suv that hit me and drove off yesterday on the way home from class. No plates and windshield Vin number is covered. Is there an easy alternative exterior location that has the Vin stamped into it but I can get a picture of? 2000 to 2003 GMC Yukon.
Https://epicvin.com/ is probably the best, as they give you a photo of the car with the VIN. Source: 11 months ago
