  • Ask HN: Banned from Facebook
I created a facebook account about 6 months ago for one reason only: to interact with a rare disease group that setup shop on facebook. I post once a month at most, last month to share a dissertation in the research group and 2 months ago to discuss fitness trackers in the parent group. I donated money to the foundation when they were asking for donations and I read new posts from time to time using an app on the... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
  • How to follow without reddit?
Friendly app does a pretty good job with hiding ads etc. Https://friendly.io/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Trying to convince my FIL that a guy on Facebook selling a "cure for diabetes" is a scammer. Can anyone help me provide him solid "proof?" I know it's stupid but he's stubborn.
Friendly Social Browser https://friendly.io/ is for mobile, you would delete the Facebook app and use Friendly instead. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Current FOSS list - let me know what you think!
Frost - Facebook Mobile Site wrapper. No longer supported, unfortunately. Friendly is a decent, if non-FOSS replacement. It has the edge with keyword filters. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I created MacTube: a native YouTube app for Macs
Nice and simple! I’ll give it a try. I’ve been using FriendlyStreaming (https://friendly.io), but I don’t really like it. Your app is much simpler and to the point. Source: over 2 years ago

  • 6 days with no updates, did the plane fkin crash???
Use getcircuit.com or aftership.com instead, they update faster and first before pandabuy. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Shipped 1 week ago and still have not got any new updates
Try using: aftership.com or epost.go.kr: mine was in that same position and still is on pandabuy app! But when I went epost.go.kr I was able to get an update! I shipped the same date and almost time that your photo shows. Hope this helps! Source: about 1 year ago
  • USPS-Heathrow
I'd also recommend using your own mail service's website or something like aftership.com because somehow they have better updates than Royal Mail for a lot of packages. Source: over 1 year ago
  • 4PX or a USPS problem
I used 4PX (because I didn't understand how the DHL shipping worked) and wound up getting it within 2-1/2 weeks. If you have the 4PX tracking number you can check status on aftership.com. At some point it is turned over to USPS and you should be able to get the USPS tracking number and check on delivery status on USPS.com. Source: almost 3 years ago
