  I worked on freelancer.com for 3 months doing mostly side gigs. WIth the payment, it wasn't much of an issue for me. The first payment indeed, it was more "special", as in, it took 2 months until I got the money in my account. But any other payment after that, were processed within days (at worst). I had some other issues (due to the country I'm working from), like my VISA card not being accepted so I had to do... Source: 11 months ago

  I once posted on reddit my thoughts on freelancer.com and I assume, that it does not have a high reputation among other redditors. Someone who hired freelancers on that very site said, that clearing a payment is very difficult on that site, which I could understand. So do you have also faced other problems on that side?   The LanguageTool extension is decent and picks up on a lot of mistakes, but nowhere close to all of them. For example, it will identify if you wrote an article that can never go with a given noun (like "der Auto"), but will not recognize a case error (like using "das Auto" in Dativ).
