I earned at 16-18, learn a skill and become fairly good at it. And make an account on Fiverr. upwork. freelancer.com, etc. Design, code, or anything which can be offered digitally. I worked on freelancer.com for 3 months doing mostly side gigs. WIth the payment, it wasn't much of an issue for me. The first payment indeed, it was more "special", as in, it took 2 months until I got the money in my account. But any other payment after that, were processed within days (at worst). Someone who hired freelancers on that very site said, that clearing a payment is very difficult on that site, which I could understand. So do you have also faced other problems on that side? Also related to controlling scope, it's very helpful to have the client pass through approval gates. Show them the site tree and have them sign off on it (meaning, any regressive work after this point will be billed hourly). Turn the site tree into a spreadsheet that indicates the content plan for every single page. Will the content be migrated from somewhere as-is? Does it need clean-up? Who on the client-side...
