Greetings, I have to disagree with some comments. Maybe it depends, where you are located. But here, in Germany, where I live, the market is strong. I'm registered to a couple of business and freelancer platforms like xing, linkedin, freelance.com and although I'm not "activly" looking for jobs with my profiles saying sth like "...is not available right now...", I get offers every one or two weeks. Of course, I... Source: 11 months ago
And yes, you still need also a freelance license if you run the low end marketplaces like freelance.com - they do not legally employ you, so you are your own business and that requires a license. Source: about 1 year ago

I earned at 16-18, learn a skill and become fairly good at it. And make an account on Fiverr. upwork. freelancer.com, etc. Design, code, or anything which can be offered digitally. If you get an order on any of them double down on it. Cold reach-out works, but you've to show something to them as a portfolio. Instagram is a good place, as I did. Source: 10 months ago
If my subscribers and views were multiplied by 100, it would have become a part-time job. I would be declaring income on my tax form, and keeping track of expenses. I might be considering hiring part-time editors on freelancer.com, but since they'd be independent contractors, they'd be just an expense to me. They'd be responsible for their own taxes. I worked on freelancer.com for 3 months doing mostly side gigs. WIth the payment, it wasn't much of an issue for me. I am also waiting for payment since two weeks. Other than that, I think that the layout looks... Source: 10 months ago
