Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. If the course doesn't use DRM then https://github.com/r0oth3x49/udemy-dl otherwise https://github.com/Puyodead1/udemy-downloader and https://github.com/Satsuoni/widevine-l3-guesser with downgraded CDM to 2209 (might stop working on Udemy in the future though, but it still works for now). Thanks for the response. I was looking at using Udemy-dl https://github.com/r0oth3x49/udemy-dl and downloading the courses using the access token in the cookies.txt file instead of logging in using my account details. Would this be safer? I might try using IDM and see if anything happens if I download 1 course. Source: over 2 years ago
