Heh, I've been there as well a decade ago when switching from windows to macos. Far manager was also the first program I'd also install on any box. As a side note, I use the trizen AUR helper program to install AUR packages because one of it's nice features over yay, etc, is that it by default shows the content of the PKGBUILD and any other files (patches etc) for an AUR package, so you can see or edit them before installing a package.
