Heh, I've been there as well a decade ago when switching from windows to macos. Far manager was also the first program I'd also install on any box. I want my mac keyboard to sound like a mechanical keyboard. So instead of buying another keyboard I decided to use this free software called Tickeys, I installed it, and the app is working fine as it should, it is making mechanical keyboard sounds when I type, but when I quit the app, it is still accessing my microphone, I know because of the yellow dot on my mac screen.
