  Heh, I've been there as well a decade ago when switching from windows to macos. Far manager was also the first program I'd also install on any box.   For example, a male student of mine a couple years ago texted me (through remind.com - an archived and vetted messaging program used by schools) that his mom was in the hospital about 30 miles away (this was true). She had to stay an extra two or three days and he needed to go back and forth. He also had to get to his work. He needed gas money. So, I met him at a gas station and he filled his tank and I paid...
