ArtFire Reviews

  1. Artfire is an online storefront for scammers

Artfire hosts several scam vendors. Artfire does nothing to protect the consumer or screen scam sellers. A quick peek at their site will reveal many deals to good to be true. I reached out to artfire and here is their response:

ArtFire Customer Service Team (ArtFire.com) Jun 29, 2021, 10:01 AM MST

    Hello,

ArtFire provides a listing service similar to a classified ad. Anyone is welcome to list and sell on ArtFire as along as they comply with our Terms of Service. Those terms include a requirement to ship products in a timely fashion and communicate with buyers. If Sellers fail to comply with our TOS they are removed from the platform and their shops are closed. We do remove sellers on a regular basis who have not fully complied with our TOS. All purchases are made between buyer and seller. ArtFire does not process payment or have access to any funds. This means that a buyer can always dispute or initiate a chargeback directly with their payment provider.

    Sincerely, ArtFire Customer Service

15 Best Etsy Alternatives for Crafty Entrepreneurs in 2022
Still a marketplace, ArtFire caters especially to local craft makers and small indie businesses. Thanks to its business owner community, you’re bound to bond with other like-minded people – meaning that help or support is never too far away, even if you’re a sole proprietor.

10 Best Etsy Alternatives for Selling Crafts and Handmade Goods (2021)
The platform is meant for handmade and artisan goods, so if you’re looking to sell commercial products, ArtFire charges a commission modifier. At the end of the day, this separates ArtFire from Etsy by helping ensure that artisans aren’t competing with mass-manufactured products at lower costs.

20 eBay-like Auction Sites for Online Sellers and Buyers
The other online auction that mostly offers vintage items, handmade and craft products and items of the fine art is Artfire. The major advantage of this platform is an absence of compulsory fees unless a customer doesn’t need Pro Account. Pro Account is an option function but it offers statistics and analytical tools, which help to increase sales.

  • Where can I sell stickers that I print at home? (not Etsy)
I'm not sure how much traffic is this site getting but you can try Folksy which is an UK version of Etsy. Source: 12 months ago
  • (Almost) everything on ETSY is overpriced garbage.
Https://folksy.com. All the stuff is handmade and sold by the creators. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Are you interested in an alternative to Etsy for North American artisans and craftspersons?
To find successful alternatives to Etsy you have to go outside the US. Folksy (hate the name) and Not on the High Street are 2 from the UK. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Local businesses
On Folksy (it’s kind of a U.K. Version of Etsy) you can search by area eg Liverpool or the North West. Unlike Etsy, it’s only British makers and everything is handmade by the makers. Source: about 1 year ago

ArtFire mentions (2)

  • Too hot to not…my buddy & his newly built pool.
I have no idea what artfire.com is but it came up in my search result for a pool. Many pools on that site are under $100 for upwards of 48" depth. I am guessing they ship from China since I never see Intex that cheap. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Don't trust artfire.com at all. This is a huge scam site.
I found this link https://artfire.com in this post, and this URL seems legit. This is just an AI prediction, which may be false positive. If you think my decision is correct please click here, otherwise if you think my decision is wrong click here. Source: almost 3 years ago
