I teach composition, and I use Flipgrid for student-created videos and discussion responses. Students seem to really enjoy seeing and hearing their classmates - particularly knowing how to pronounce someone's name. Source: over 1 year ago
Well, I teach primarily first-year-writing courses and discussion is a significant component of the course. For brainstorming sessions or icebreakers, I use Flipgrid. I have a friend who teaches math and she uses Flipgrid for demonstrations (she has students work out problems on Flipgrid and they would on the board in class).
