I use FitSync to sync intraday Fitbit data to Apple Health. It includes SpO2 and sleep heart rate so I can also use the wellness tab in GentlerStreak. Apps like RunGap or FITIV can connect with Fitbit to export workouts to Apple Health. A chest HR monitor will give a much more accurate reading because it measure much more often than the watch does. Also, movement of the watch on your wrist can interrupt the reading. When I workout, I take the watch off and just use my iPhone (running FITIV) and the chest HR monitor. Much easier to see than trying to look at your wrist while riding. I have found it incredibly helpful to be able to watch my metrics as I'm exercising. This is where "Fitiv" comes in. Both GS and Fitiv will allow you to track your metrics during a workout. However, GS will only display on your watch, not your phone. When I'm riding, I don't want to have to move my hand off the handlebars to see the watch face. So I had my first race since 2019 today - and in previous years I did my tracking by carrying my phone with me for the bike and the run. (I'd keep in in an armband around the aero bars, and then slip it onto my arm for the run.) I don't use the Wahoo Cadence, but I do use the first-gen Wahoo Tickr for heart rate, and my app of choice for fitness tracking has been Fitiv. It has worked well with GPS tracking and pairing with the Tickr, using either my phone (iPhone 8) or my watch (Apple series 2). It only takes a second to put your piece of chicken on a food scale and write down how much it weighs. Then it only takes a second to goto myfitnesspal.com and log it into your daily food diary. That is, of the 632 calories on Day 2, 16g were from protein, 42g from carbs, and 48g from fat. The myfitnesspal.com website makes it easy to input 'manual' foods from my respective meals, where I put in the calories, grams of fat, carbs and protein, and it calculates out the percentages / calories on a given day's diary. Hi there, good job losing the weight you have. I recommend myfitnesspal.com. You will need your accurate height also. But you can play around with the figures to see how much of a deficit you need/what your calorie goal should be etc. Ive used it for years, there is also a massive community and food database :).
