Not saying it works for everyone, but the system I have worked out for myself is strength training 3-5 days/week during my lunch break at work. I have an hour lunch, so I can usually work in about 30 min of exercise, and I eat at my desk after. I use fitbod to generate workouts for me. It's not perfect, but I can easily change the workout based on what I'm feeling. It also keeps track of your workouts and can post... Source: 10 months ago
I've started using a new fitness app, Fitbod (https://fitbod.me/). I've only logged a couple workouts so far but am a pretty big fan of the app right away. My favorite thing is that I can set up multiple "gyms" in the app and define what each equipment has in it (my crappy station gym vs my decent home gym vs the local commercial gym I go to) and have it auto-generate workouts for me. These are all features that the exercise.com should offer...... But they don't. Source: over 1 year ago
It doesn't seem that severe tbh. They payed quite some cash for him to come work for them at exercise.com, another website they were developing at the time and he dropped out after 9 months to work full-time on Lichess. Some grudges were held but this was not about either website and it was a long time ago. Source: about 2 years ago
In short: Erik Allebest hired me to work on exercise.com, after I had started working on Lichess. I never had access to any code or intel from chess.com. I left exercise.com to work for startups unrelated to chess for 6 years, before Lichess hired me as full-time dev. Source: about 3 years ago
