Robo-Advisers Australia - Raiz vs Stockspot Vs The Rest
We haven’t mentioned Raiz as a robo-advice company because they miss a key component – the advice. While they have similar investment options and do the re-balancing they won’t tell you where to invest your money but rather you have to choose. One of the advantages of Raiz is they do cater for smaller investment amounts – but be warned; the further your balance slides below...

  • TESLA IS LOW! I just bought a few shares and I think the predicted 52 week high is about 400 and low of 202! not much to lose here. what do you guys think?
The way to value stocks is by running a DCF analysis. There's software that can do that for you, for example at: finbox.com. In a DCF analysis you have to come up with some estimates with regards to future revenue, capex, depreciation, EBITDA margins, and other things like that. Then, based on these estimates and your desired rate of return, the DCF model should tell you how much the company is worth today. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Where do you find bond market data?
The bond market is twice the size of the equity market, but it's more opaque. I'm looking for some kind of dashboard, like Wallmine, Finbox, Trading Economics, or Messari, for real-time capital flows through Treasurys, bonds, credit markets, and the like. Any good resources out there? Also, anything good on private markets as well (VC, PE, etc.)? Source: about 2 years ago

  • [OC] Technology stocks have lost some of their shine in 2021
I made this data visualisation in Adobe After Effects. I download the stock information from Finbox (https://finbox.com) and created json file with it. I linked this data file to the animation using Javascript. Source: about 3 years ago

  • People who are 40+, what is your advice to people in their 20s?
Download an app like raiz. I know it has a US version as I use to use it but cant remember the name. Basically it rounds every transaction you make up to the $1. It puts those few cents into an investment portfolio. Also add $10 or $20 a week if u can. This is child like investment but what it does is force you to put money aside that otherwise you would spend on beer and steam games. Use it as long or short term... Source: over 1 year ago
