The way to value stocks is by running a DCF analysis. There's software that can do that for you, for example at: finbox.com. In a DCF analysis you have to come up with some estimates with regards to future revenue, capex, depreciation, EBITDA margins, and other things like that. I tried and failed. I manually went through hundreds of 10k/q's using bamsec.com to pull outstanding shares and then calculated it in Sheets by pulling price for the specific date. I factored in dilution if it happened between the 10k/q I was looking at and the date I needed market cap for. Sounds tedious but it wasn't too horrible using bamsec.
