• Tip for everyone who hasn't converted their assets to .webp yet

  Download and install the File Converter, right-click on an image file such as jpg, png, etc. And hover over "File Converter" which should be above "Open with," go to "Configure presets," go to webp, set the quality to something reasonable like 90 (you can even go lower), save. • Run old software on new Ubuntu.

  I want to use old software from 2011 (https://sourceforge.net/projects/nokuntu/). It doesn't exist in the official Ubuntu repository anymore. The .deb package from sourceforge has a big list of unmet dependencies. This is the use case where Linux fails miserably compare to Windows. Every time linux distro updates, all packages have to be updated. On windows, you build it once, and it works even 10 years later.... Source: almost 2 years ago
