I shoot RAW from an older Canon 5D which Resolve does not read natively. So there's a bit of a conversion step going from CR2. My typical workflow is to use Adobe RAW to process the images, then import the RAW directly to AE to render out with whatever repositioning or cropping. As for the changing of exposure at dawn in that timelapse I shared, that's exposure ramping, and I make settings changes on my camera as the light levels are changing to maintain a good exposure, and then I smooth those changes in post using the super-helpful program LRTimelapse (which works in conjunction with Lightroom, so you need to be in the Adobe ecosystem to use it).
