Warpinator doesn't work on my network so I use feem.io on windows to transfer things over to the deck itself then copy and paste it over to the sd card once its on there (the free version transfers it over to the documents folder). With regard to encryption tools, I use AxCrypt, which is cross-platform, but isn't free in that form. It would though encrypt each file in-place, without need for a dedicated folder or vault and encrypted file will sync with OneDrive, via the standard sync client.
