Lenns.io Reviews

  1. The unique RSS/website reader

Lenns.io is more than a RSS reader. It's a website reader as it can follow posts by titles in cases when there isn't an exposed RSS feed.

My favourite part is setting priorities per source and category as well as limiting the number of posts per source. That way, a single source cannot overflow my feed.

  • Looking for self-hosted RSS aggregator with "RSS from HTML" feature
Right now I'm using Feeder (https://feeder.co), but I'd like to switch to some self-hosted aggregator. One of the most useful feature for me is ability to follow websites without RSS feed on it. Source: 10 months ago
  • Why do I get duplicated notifications in Chrome plugin?
Well, I feel dumb now. I posted here because I thought I was using Feedly's plugin. Now I see it's feeder.co (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/rss-feed-reader/pnjaodmkngahhkoihejjehlcdlnohgmp) So, I guess nevermind my question, probably has nothing to do with feedly. • Best RSS aggregator?
Inoreader is good. I have been s subscriber for a few years now though the price is getting a little high. Also check out Feeder at https://feeder.co/. Feeder is not as full featured as Inoreader so it really depends on what you want but they are having a sale right now. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Recommend me iOS RSS Apps please!
I use feeder.co. They also have browser extensions that sync with the app which is a nice feature. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Pipeline metrics help
If you already have RSS feeds running in your company with an RSS feed reader, you could also add the failed builds RSS feed for most interesting jobs so that you can see an RSS message for each job that fails. I use https://feeder.co to read the RSS feeds from ci.jenkins.io jobs that are very important to me. Easy to configure and low cost. Source: over 1 year ago

Lenns.io mentions (10)

  • Ask HN: Show me your half baked project
Https://lenns.io/ - it may not be exactly ready for prime time (lacking communication & marketing); however, it's been fully functional and my RSS reader of choice for the last 2 years. Why - a single source cannot overwhelm my feed; I can set priorities to sources and categories;. - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
  • Vore: A new RSS feed reader
For those interested in new(opinionated) RSS readers, I'd like to know what you guys think about https://lenns.io/? - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
  • Ask HN: Most interesting tech you built for just yourself?
I built an opinionated RSS/website reader - https://lenns.io. Everyone can register and use it, but it's built based on my requirements and vision only. Yet, I believe it could be useful to others, and that's why I made it open for everyone to use. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
  • Google Reader Inspired RSS Reader
For those interested in "alternative" RSS Readers, I'd welcome you giving a go to my opinionated RSS (not only) reader - https://lenns.io. It supports tracking articles by headlines in those cases when a blog or a website doesn't support RSS. Plus a few other goodies, like assigning priorities to your feeds (and topics) and limiting the number of posts per source. Enjoy. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
  • It's Time for an RSS Revival
Have you considered an RSS reader that "reads" non-RSS publications? That's what I've tried to do with Lenns.io. You can subscribe to any blog/website, regardless of their RSS support. Then, if they don't expose an RSS feed - the website's titles are followed. That works with about 90% success. I'd be happy if you give it a go https://lenns.io. Bonus - you can set priorities to feeds and the number of items per... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
