I was able to login on fandango.com with no problems and now when I login to vudu with my walmart account it says its wrong so I changed the password on walmart.com and I still get the problem so I guess I'm just going to call them and see if they can fix it. Source: almost 3 years ago

So it definitely happens on the HBO Max app from the play store, but does NOT happen when I stream from play.hbomax.com in fullscreen...weird stuff...but also I don't remember ever seeing anything about a 480p limit from streaming apps, and the HBO Max app is definitely higher resolution than that, it looks exactly the same from the app to the website...thanks for the tip though, I guess I'll just use the websites...
