  • Sharing baby pictures - thoughts?
My wife managed to find an application that has worked fantastically for us; FamilyAlbum. We're able to invite family members to it, whenever we upload pictures or video those who have been invited and installed the app get a notification so they can check. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Family Album photo sharing app?
I’m looking at options for sharing photos with family and close friends that’s not social media as my husband and I would like to limit the amount of exposure of our soon-to-arrive baby. I found the Family Album app (https://family-album.com). I like the privacy features — though I realize they can change their policies at any point. Has any one else used it? Do you like it? Have you had any issues with it? Can... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Pros and cons of sharing your baby on social media
Neither of us have social media besides Reddit to begin with. However, with our families scattered all over the place, we were finding text chains were getting unwieldy. We use FamilyAlbum now and couldn't be happier with it. Very private, easy to use for the grandparents, and they make adorable highlight reel movies. It's a great alternative to Facebook or Instagram. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • MIL shared pictures with baby's face despite knowing this is a hard boundary for us
Hey, maybe not with MIL, but if there are people you trust not to be garbage and want to share photos with, this is what we use. It’s invitation only, and you can revoke access at any time. We can control who has access (we just allow family and closest of friends), whether they can download images (they can’t), and choose whether or not to allow comments on photos (we chose not to, so only my husband and I can... • Client photo delivery websites that allow updating images before digital delivery
If you want something more specific for client proofing, Picflow is AWESOME for this. It allows clients to draw and comment on photos to more specifically show you want they want fixed. IMO this probably better for commercial clients - I wouldn't want to make my wedding clients do all that extra work. Source: 11 months ago
  • Free Client Proofing Sites
I've been trying out the free plan from https://picflow.com/ for the last little while and it seems to be working well. Only complaint so far is it can be a little slow to load at times. Source: almost 2 years ago
