Some booking websites allow you to search specifically for hostels. I just took a quick glance, and expedia.com allows it. Booking.com doesn't appear so, but maybe I missed something. Source: 11 months ago
Whatever safe bed you can find at this point. You've left it too late to be picky and it's looking like it's going to be the start of the the busiest, boomiest tourist season here in Italy ever. Expect to have to stay very, very, very far from city centers and transit connections or to pay $400+/night on a place. I usually purchase flights from priceline.com but I check on momondo.com to compare which dates would be the cheapest. I have now signed up with Qantas as I'll be flying with them and getting points is always good too if you'll be travelling often~. Source: over 1 year ago
