During the 2021-2022 winter french npp worked pretty much as usual, then both unplanned and regular maintenance requirement hit during spring, summer, and fall 2022. But for this winter 2022-2023 we are currently fine, we're exporting 10GW right now. Though with flights, you can also optimize a lot if you have enough lead time: I recommend https://skyscanner.com/ Trains are nice if you need to transport anything of volume, if you stay longer than a day or two so you can amortize the travel time, if you have lots of run-up time, and probably cheaper if you travel a lot.
