Eklipse Reviews

  1. Trash, trash and more trash.

If you want to need to contact them weekly to do your video montage (which turns out awful compared to Athenascope clips), then go for it. I was a paying customer and quit. Their product is awful, and service is worse. I got cussed out by the owner / guy running Discord for asking for support 'when it was a holiday over there'. They are a poor, poor replacement for Athenascope.

๐Ÿ‘Ž Cons:    Doesn't work most of the time

  • How often do you stream?
I really do often streaming, 3-5 days a week. This is kind of therapeutic activty for me after long hours at work. I also do posting some of my clips into social media like tiktok and ig. This is not heavy, I just using some ai tools for video editing like eklipse.gg and get some friends online. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Does this exist?
The closest thing to it is eklipse.gg, which is much much better, but still far from what we all want an automated process like this to be. Source: about 1 year ago

  • To Streamers and Editors. Do you miss athenascope, the automatic clip generator for twitch?
Depending on what games you all play, may I suggest https://eklipse.gg Not trying to be rude or knock your coding. Just a thought for those that don't know about it. Works great, but is limited in what games are available. Source: over 1 year ago

  • My (challenging) experience building a window switcher for Ubuntu
As the author of QuickTile, which is written in Python but even closer to what you describe than a window manager would be, I have to say that, yeah, doing X11 stuff takes a lot of knowledge that's not ideally documented in non-print sources. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Rust's problematic reliance on GitHub
Actually, I plan to add a .nojekyll file and then use something like Pelican with custom plugins, then set GitHub Actions to run my update.sh on push... Similar to how http://ssokolow.com/quicktile/ is a Sphinx-based site hosted on GitHub Pages and automatically regenerated from the pushed sources. Source: about 2 years ago
  • tilling wm on elementary os ?
I've been using ssokolow.com/quicktile for this purpose, it does what I need and doesn't replace the wm. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Converting an array, slice or vector to base58 encoding WITH check
The best I could do for the API documentation for this project of mine was to use the automodule directive to autogenerate at the coarsest level possible and remember to never create new .py files if I could possibly avoid it. Source: almost 3 years ago
