Most small archives back in the day ran off of efiction (https://efiction.org/) I think. Or at least the ones I visited did. It seems miles easier than trying to set up ao3's software for yourself, though of course the search and tagging/categorizing functionalities aren't as robust. But it works for small archives. Your book is not a movie and its not complete so how are you going to finish it. This is where your psyche matters and why you cant write. The first draft is telling and needs a lot of revising but you cant do that if theirs someone interjecting in your head calling you a kid.
