EasyEDA is a robust online application for designing Printed Circuit Boards with capabilities such as schematic capture, PCB design, library design, project management, and team collaboration. Designers, engineers, and simulation professionals with the ability to construct public or private projects will benefit from the tool. EasyEDA enables the development and editing of...
Best Free Circuit Simulation software for Windows 10
EasyEDA has tons of devices and you won’t feel like you are missing out on anything in particular. However, these online tools are not as powerful as freeware. But, if you just want to design and simulate circuits then it is a nice option and can be accessed from their official website.
Best circuit simulation software for electronics engineers
EasyEDA is an amazing free online circuit simulator which is very suitable for everyone who loves electronic circuit. EasyEDA approximates some LTspice IV, but with a somewhat more friendly interface. This simulator is also very powerful , which can verify analog, digital, and mixed signal circuits with spice subcircuits and models and get results quickly from the...

EasyEDAEasyEDA is another free software that doesn’t require downloading. You can just signup and use the software, you can even try it without a signup but to download/save what you made you have to have an account which is ofcourse free.

The Qucs cross-platform circuit simulator is a spin-off of Qucs. The letter S stands for the SPICE engine, which performs all simulations within the software. The Qucs subproject's goal is to integrate free SPICE circuit simulation kernels into the Qucs GUI. It combines SPICE's capability with the Qucs GUI's simplicity. Qucs utilizes its own SPICE incompatible simulation...

QUCS – Quite Universal Circuit Simulator is a free simulation software developed on GNU/Linux environment. Well, this software really works on other operating systems such as Solaris, Apple Macintosh, Microsoft windows, FreeBSD, NetBSD etc. User can simulate large signal, small signal and noise behavior of the circuit using this simple circuit simulator.

  • What is "this type" of PCB "called"
a bunch of pcb manfacturing places have their own layout software which may or may not suite your needs. E.g. JLCPCB is a very good board manufacturer (and cheap to boot), and their EasyEDA software looks sane. Digikey has SnapEDA etc. Source: 11 months ago
  • Can someone explain how this white LED works?
It depends how good your electronics are or whether you're willing to invest time into learning PCB design. The capacitor's values can be found using an LCR meter, it will be a bit fiddly and you'll want to remove them from the flex PCB before testing. LCR meter can be picked up cheap on Amazon. Looks like a relatively simple circuit too, so you can trace it out quite easily. Then just measure up the PCB and you... Source: 11 months ago
  • how to make/design your own custom Arduino for specific purposes
There are lots of free tools out there, but I would suggest EasyEDA. Backed by JLCPCB, one of the best PCB makers in China, you could design your schematic and PCB and then have JLCPCB make the circuit boards for you. Everything is online and free, with lots of support. Source: 12 months ago
  • double sided perfboard options
For designing them there are various tools out there. Personally I find https://easyeda.com/ and https://upverter.com/ easier to get started with. Other popular option (but with a much steeper learning curve) are kcad, but I have always found that to be clunky UI. https://fritzing.org/ is another local option that is easy to use but last time I tried it would crash on me all the time making it basically unusable -... • How do dual-directional couplers behave with a mismatched load?
If you can get s parameter model you can use that. There are also generic transformer and coupled line models so long as you've got a way of characterising it you should be able to model it. https://sourceforge.net/projects/qucs/. Source: about 1 year ago
