I can’t suggest any authors for you but consider getting a ESV woman’s study Bible by CrossWay (it’s great from what I hear) and maybe consider ESword or Blue letter Bible for software. In search of a program like ScreenCloud that allows you to display messages, alerts, weather, time, etc. But also allows you to set alarms to indicate start/break times and interrupts the regular flow of information on the screen to display a message and play audio before returning to the regular display playlist.
