DrawPile is an open-source and free whiteboard app available on Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. It has no mobile version available. > 4. The software is still bad. There is still no native cross-platform sketchpad application with collaboration features built in, that will let me conduct a three hour online research meeting with dozens of pages of math. Browsers will inevitably crash, and are just slow. Any experience with https://drawpile.net/? - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

  • Drawing jams instead of game jams?
Jam with your crew in Drawpile. You can invite people and draw together on the same canvas. Just set up a discord chat and have fun. https://drawpile.net/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Add custom color palettes to GIMP and Inkscape
Note: The .gpl format is also supported by Aseprite, Drawpile, Krita and MyPaint. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
  • Why can you swap Sans with Patrick so often, tho?
For PC, GIMP is grátis (costs zero), but personally I suggest either Krita or Drawpile depending if you want it full-featured or one that just works, respectively. Source: almost 2 years ago

  • Can you use Discord alongside a few lightweight apps on the Pinebook Pro?
I'm in search of a new work laptop, and am trying to decide whether the Pinebook Pro will meet my needs. The most demanding thing I'll need to do over it will be to conduct an audio call over Discord (one-on-one) while using a collaborative whiteboard app (the website draw.chat, specifically). • Need help finding a program to do online math tutoring on (URGENT)
What whiteboard app to use is a bit of an open question, as it's unfortunately hard to have a viable business model for them. I've had a few I've really enjoyed, only for them to go under. Currently I use draw.chat, or the built-in whiteboard on Zoom (enable annotations, and it can be used that way). Source: over 2 years ago
