Well yeah, I mean no one forces you to use Explorer for file management under Windows. I'm an old-time Norton Commander user, and when Windows came around I switched to Total Commander. There are open-source alternatives too, even cross-platform ones, like this one: https://doublecmd.sourceforge.io/. But now I think I've found the source of the problem. I've been using memtest (this app) to see if there is a problem with the ram, and checking cpu temperatures with Core Temp if there was an overheating problem. And everything looks normal, the laptop didn't reset, there was no blue screen and the screen didn't go black... Until I plugged the charger cuz the batery was running out and then the laptop goes black... Source: 11 months ago
Use this piece of software to test out your ram. Try running it for a few hours or overnight, you shouldn't get any error's even if you run it for days. Try one stick at a time to check if they are fine. Source: 12 months ago
