I bought it a long time ago as an alternative to http://hajoheadphone.com/. It does the job but I've had too many issues with it so I stopped using it. Biggest one was muting the volume randomly and the only way to get it back was to restart my MacBook. It wasn't happening very often, but often enough to be annoying as I can't restart when I'm working. Source: about 2 years ago
