Psychiatrist - You can refuse the treatment options they offer and ask for alternatives, or suggest your own. You should tell this psych, if you decide to keep them, that the side effects from the meds are too strong and you do not like them. Doctor On Demand App is a telehealth provider that accepts Tricare and they treat anything from a cold to seeing a mental health professional. My experience with them so far has been amazing. Given that we live in an age where reliable and up to date medical knowledge is freely available online I see no reason why we should limit our resources for dealing with fibromyalgia to those offered by our local medical system. Last I checked, fibromyalgia does not differentiate between race, ethnicity, gender nor nationality, with the sole exception of it's occurrence. Source: about 3 years ago
