I started using DisplayFusion (displayfusion.com) with Windows 2000 when I got a second monitor. Windows is just awful with multiple monitors. That hasn't improved as far as I can tell. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Honestly, Windows 11 is not that impressive.
DisplayFusion, displayfusion.com, there is a free version without all the paid features. I've had it for years. I think it's $29 per pc or $44 for unlimited home use. This is the first time I've let DispayFusion manage my taskbars. Have a lovely taskbar on both monitors now. Source: over 3 years ago

  • Is there a way to mitigate WindowServer memory leak in scaled resolutions?
WindowServer leaks for when using an external 4k monitor, but with scaled resolution it is going even faster requiring two reboots a day. Full 4k is too small for me, so now I am trying Resolutionator Https://manytricks.com/resolutionator/ To select a scaled resolution. I haven't run that much yet, but first indications are that the memory leak isn't as bad, though the fonts etc are a bit more grainy. Source: over 3 years ago
