Hi there. Not a designer, but I know of a useful website that I've previously used for having a poster designed for me that includes Web Design as one of its options. It's called DesignBro and it offers pretty good quality results. Maybe you'd like to give it a try. Source: over 2 years ago
It is an easy job to create a wiki site. You can do it even without hiring someone. I remember I did a bunch of wiki pages for my college projects. It was terrifying initially, but after a couple of short video tutorials, I mastered my skill, even though I’m not an expert in this field. So, just google how to do it, and you will be fine. It is not that hard to do. In the meantime, I suggest you work on your own... Source: almost 3 years ago
Web developers and web designers are generally two different fields of expertise. While both of them can work to achieve one goal. You are actually right in saying that web developers are working primarily with the infrastructures. I would even say that they specialize in a more technical part. In the meantime, web designers are mainly working to make your site more attractive for viewers. Unfortunately, it seems... Source: almost 3 years ago
Luckily, my shoes are getting noticed, so I’m thinking of creating my own brand. Obviously, for a new brand, I need a logo. I have already found this organization — https://designbro.com, which can help me to realize my ideas. While I was studying at college, we also explored some logos of famous fashion brands. You may notice that almost all luxury brands have a simple logo. Besides, they also have a simple and... Source: almost 3 years ago
We found this site — https://designbro.com where we can order something online. We don’t know the prices yet, and we haven’t compared prices among other companies. Our budget is limited, and we have no idea how much it is going to cost us. We still consider that the option of doing everything by ourselves and save some money for other things. I earned at 16-18, learn a skill and become fairly good at it. And make an account on Fiverr. upwork. freelancer.com, etc. Design, code, or anything which can be offered digitally. If you get an order on any of them double down on it. Cold reach-out works, but you've to show something to them as a portfolio. Instagram is a good place, as I did. Source: 10 months ago
If my subscribers and views were multiplied by 100, it would have become a part-time job. I would be declaring income on my tax form, and keeping track of expenses. I might be considering hiring part-time editors on freelancer.com, but since they'd be independent contractors, they'd be just an expense to me. They'd be responsible for their own taxes. I worked on freelancer.com for 3 months doing mostly side gigs. WIth the payment, it wasn't much of an issue for me. The first payment indeed, it was more "special", as in, it took 2 months until I got the money in my account. But any other payment after that, were processed within days (at worst). I had some other issues (due to the country I'm working from), like my VISA card not being accepted so I had to do... Source: 10 months ago
I once posted on reddit my thoughts on freelancer.com and I assume, that it does not have a high reputation among other redditors. Someone who hired freelancers on that very site said, that clearing a payment is very difficult on that site, which I could understand. So do you have also faced other problems on that side? I am also waiting for payment since two weeks. Other than that, I think that the layout looks... Source: 10 months ago
