Back in the day I used to use Delicious Library, which had a cool interface. Looks like it’s still available but not actively maintained. Never used FileMaker but believe it or not it is still around and being maintained. Source: about 1 year ago

Just saw this Tik Tok by Alec Soth who uses Delicious Library. There’s a few iPhone apps and web based options I’ve come across in a quick google search. Anyone out there use anything? I don’t have a massive personal collection but I’m also a photo teacher and have a pretty good sized classroom library and would love to find a solution where students could search by theme or photographer. I recommend googling lots of "best of" lists..like "best thrillers", "best movies of the 90s", etc. Also the site https://bestsimilar.com is really helpful cause you can enter any movie and it'll give you a list of similar ones. Source: over 1 year ago

I have found sites like https://bestsimilar.com/ where you give a movie as input and get some movies like the one you plugged in. My problem is that I don't always know what I like to watch. Also, I found an AI that can recommend movies based on your letterbox watched films but I think it just recommends top movies. Source: almost 2 years ago
