  • I'm self-studying APUSH this upcoming year, using khanacademy, a textbook/test prep book i bought, and heimlers history. Any advice from people who already took the exam? Anything else I'll need?
    I used the amsco book, Jocz notes which you can find on apushexplained.com , and any other textbook or other course material you have. I would print out the jocz notes (if you cant I strongly recommend hand writing it), and write on the right hand side which is provided for additional notes.     AMSCO is your best bet, and it doesn't matter the version, just make it 2016 or later. There's a PDF of the 2016 version out there on Google somewhere, but getting a physical copy is best for annotating. In conjunction with the readings, watch Khan Academy's videos, or better either apushreview.com (tons of really well done videos) or Heimler's History (Youtube). Source: about 3 years ago
