It's worse than a "complicated broken mess". It doesn't work at all on iOS 14.3 (iPhone). It's just stuck displaying some glowing squares. Honestly I always keep thesaurus.com open in a tab, and I'll just plug that word I want to use again in to see what else it offers me, and click through some suggestions to get to others if I still don't like those. Source: 10 months ago
Instead of "long" branches, you could consider: elongated, stretching, gangling, lanky, towering, lofty, or far-reaching. All of these words I found on thesaurus.com by looking up "long." Now, consider how each of these offers a slightly different vision of this tree, some carrying emotional implications. "Towering branches" give a very different feeling than "lanky branches.".
