For managing meetings, Dato is a better date app for macOS. It's great for having multiple time zones in the address bar. I have my local time as well as UTC. I was having the same problem where I wanted to block events on my iCloud calendar on my work Google calendar. Google allows you to subscribe to other calendars (Like the iCloud one) but there’s an invisible limitation of 10MB where it then just doesn’t do anything and no events show up.
