• How should I go about getting a job as a character designer (or something similar) for Blizzard?

  If it's the first, you might start digging into some of Marc Brunet's channel on YouTube for loads of videos about art and concepting work. He used to be a concept artist at Blizzard a while back before pursuing mostly educational content.
