You can do it. Go for it. Just be ready to do what everyone else isn’t willing to do by working hard consistently to that goal. Are you familiar with GAAP? Typically that’s something you cover in Acct 1&2 in a business course and unless you want to end up bankrupt waiting 10 years for that to come off your personal record then you’ll need to seriously consider hiring professionals.
