Hello! I am taking the early childhood education part two: math exam in a couple of weeks. I am wondering if anyone has any resources they'd recommend. I have the barrons book from a few years ago, and I have been looking at online prep resources like study.com, teachercertification.com, or mathhelp.com. If you've used any of those online resources or can tell me more about the pearson practice exam (it doesn't... Source: about 1 year ago
  • ALEKS Studying help
I took my ALEKS placement test for college and got a HORRIBLE score, so now I'm going to study for literally the first time ever. I found a good course on mathhelp.com but it costs over $40 a month, so does anyone know a good way to study for something like that? Source: over 2 years ago
  • Good practice for the ALEKS math placement test?
I found a website (mathhelp.com) that claims to have ALEKS placement test practice exams. Is this legit? I don't want to be fooled by fake practice exams. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Running out of hope
Spend a long session, like 3 hours on the areas you're stuck on, Watch videos, find someone you can ask questions, (r/homeworkhelp is a good resource) whatever, Khan academy, and mathhelp.com were my jam. I ended up getting a math tutor for a bit as well. But as something clicks Make your OWN instructions. Personally I has these bright colored construction papers where I would write out in my own words: "when... Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Math at FRCC
I went online to mathhelp.com and bought their accuplacer prep course for $50. I spent 6-7 hours a day for a 3 weeks just going through all the modules. I had to relearn basic multiplication, long division, and 5th grade fractions even. I worked my way up to logarithms, and trigonometry. I did every module quiz and test, and didn't proceed to the next lesson until I got 100%. Source: almost 3 years ago
