Copy Me That mentions (15)

  • with high inflation how have your saved money, grown your cooking skills etc?
The app copymethat and the meal planner ad on: life changing. I can look back to this week last year and just copy the whole week and turn the recipes into a shopping list in a heart beat. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Is it pointless to have a small collection of cookbooks when there are so many recipes online?
I use copymethat.com It's a chrome extension that you just have to press a button and it copies it to your own list of recipes (aka won't change if the OP changes it). Source: about 1 year ago
  • How to preserve old recipes
I'm sure a lot of people here know of the site, but our family started using copymethat.com to keep family recipes on and share with each other. I'd already used it for it's original purpose of copying recipes from websites (because they sometimes go away), and also so I could rate them and not mistakenly use the same recipe I hated before next time I tried to make something. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Do you have a system for keeping your recipes?
I use copymethat.com and can't recommend it enough. It's primarily meant for saving recipes from websites but you can also enter your own recipes. I'm pretty obsessive about using the collection tagging feature. I categorize by things like meals, snacks, desserts and then also by season, that way I can filter it down to summer meals, for example. You can also search an ingredient and it will show all the recipes... Source: almost 2 years ago

OurHome mentions (7)

  • “Men take a while to train.”
There are apps in which each member of the household can register which chore has been done, by whom, how much time it took or how much difficult it subjectively was, such as http://ourhomeapp.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Helpful apps for household management?
I think Our Home has everything you’re asking for! http://ourhomeapp.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • App suggestion please - tweens and teens “turning in” completed tasks
My husband and I use OurHome with each other and it is meant to be used with kids. I think it has everything you mentioned and more! http://ourhomeapp.com/. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Allowance/banking management for kids
While non-selfhosted, I believe OurHome is the most recommended app for tracking kids' chores, allowances, rewards, and such. Maybe someone will build a self-hosted alternative. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Modern Virtual Assistants for Moms
Do you have younger children who are old enough to use an app but not old enough to remember all the duties they have to do around the house? Then the OurHouse app is a must for your smartphones and tablets. The basis of this application is that it allows parents to set a list of chores to do and assigns them point values. Once your child completes enough tasks, they will earn benefits from screentime to having a... Source: over 2 years ago
