I googled a little and according to consumerreports.org Mercedes in the US seems to be really bad...BMW on the other hand improved massivly and is third most reliable brand behind Toyota/Lexus. Go to anidb.net and mess around with the advanced character search function. You'll probably get a solid list (though obviously it isn't going to be exhaustive).
