Working with Nomachine for a few years now. It just works. It is fast and pretty easy to setup. There are often updates and the update prices is very good also. I tried loads of other remote control tools, but Nomachine just works the best.

On my work system I have local admin but Windows Store is blocked by policy. One of my coworkers over on the DBA team had me install ConEmu which has some nice features similar to to Windows Terminal. Also, Posh-Git is a nice addition to have on top. Source: over 1 year ago

I occasionally use NoMachine to use a GUI to run games on VPSs that don't have a GPU of any kind. NoMachine creates an X11 server on the VPS and I can then access it as a graphical desktop. You can't do that on Wayland. Source: about 1 year ago
